Experience
- Some 15 years working for top tier international law firms, government agencies and multinational companies in Australia, Europe, England and the UAE.
- Highly experienced working with:
- FIDIC, NEC, JCT, AS, MBA and HIA forms of contract; and
- bespoke Public Private Partnership arrangements, EPC contracts and subcontracts.
- Experienced with both front-end (a.k.a. non-contentious or procurement) and back-end (a.k.a. contentious or project delivery) legal work.
- Proficient with general corporate and commercial issues that frequently arise on construction projects, particularly insolvency and debt recovery.
- Hold a Bachelor of Laws (with first class honours) and a Bachelor of Science (with a physics major) from the University of Melbourne.
- Guest lecturer at University of Melbourne and University of Technology Sydney, on the topic of dispute avoidance on infrastructure projects.
- Admitted to practice in both Australia and England & Wales.
- Have led and managed teams in an in-house legal environment, whilst in private legal practice and as an infantry officer in the Australian Army Reserves
